If you saw yesterday's backer update, we are still missing 12% of surveys — we received a lot of questions whether the survey was completed or not, so our smarty-pants operations colleague came up with a solution!

Update: Shipping Delay Due to Typhoon 🚢
We want to be transparent: Hong Kong, where the deluxe hardcover is being printed, was recently impacted by a severe typhoon. This has caused delays at the printer and the ports that may affect our production and shipping timeline.
While this situation is beyond our control, we are working closely with our printing and fulfillment partners to minimize any delays and keep the project on track. We’ll provide a full update after New York Comic Con with the latest status.

✅ We’re thrilled to share that ULTIMATE OZ UNIVERSE: THE LOST LANDS is complete!
The final artwork and lettering are all done — we are now finalizing the book design and the book's backmatter while the pages are going through a final review. Once it's all approved, we'll send the book to print!
We can’t wait for you to hold this deluxe edition in your hands!

Because of you, the collector’s hardcover edition of ULTIMATE OZ UNIVERSE: THE LOST LANDS is becoming a reality — we’re beyond grateful for your support and we can’t wait to share it with you!
FINAL PRODUCTION STEPS ✏️
Mike Deodato is on the last few pages of art, Ive Svorcina is currently coloring the final batch of pages, and we will move into the final lettering phase with Steve Wands to complete the book! Our team is working hard to ensure every detail lives up to OZ’s rich legacy — and to the high standards you expect.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
FINAL PAYMENTS — Kickstarter finished charging your cards and we’ve received notification of most payments going through. If you run into issues with your payments through Kickstarter, you will be able to fix any issues on BackerKit when we share our post-campaign survey.
SPEAKING OF SURVEYS… Post-campaign surveys will go out next week. If this is your first time backing a project on Kickstarter, these surveys are for you to confirm your order and add to your order. That’s right, you have a chance to add last-minute items to your order!
Surveys will be shared through BackerKit, you will receive them in the email you have on file with your Kickstarter account. Those surveys should start going out mid next week.
CONFIRMING ADDRESSES — We will be sending another survey closer to our fulfillment date to confirm your shipping cost and shipping address (this will come from our partners called EasyShip). This helps us be able to get your most up-to-date address when we are shipping orders and this way we get you the most accurate shipping costs, as well. You can expect this form to come out in November, right before our December fulfillment.
BACKERKIT POST-CAMPAIGN PLEDGES — For anyone that missed the campaign, you can find our late pledges sales page on BackerKit. This page will be open long, so it’s the last chance for anyone who missed the campaign to still jump in. Also, if you know anyone who missed the campaign, the main button on the Kickstarter page goes to this new page.
ZOOM EVENT SERIES
The big finish helped us hit the $100k stretch goal, so we will be expanding our OZ Historians Zoom event into a 3-part series!
Session 1: Will take place before the books ship (Fall 2025) — it will be a behind-the-scenes deep dive into The Lost Lands and how our creative team and historians worked up this amazing graphic novel.
Session 2 & 3: Will take place after books arrive at your homes (Winter 2025/2026) — this will be your chance to discuss the story, ask questions, and explore OZ with the creative team and historians.
More details and dates will be shared as we get closer.
